Skeletal muscles:  Gluteus maximus
 
Cutaneous distribution:  None
 
Neuromuscular deficit:  Patients shift the weight of their upper trunk posteriorly at heel strike to facilitate hip extension on the side of impairment. No cutaneous nerve deficit accompanies weakness/paralysis.
